Colon Hydrotherapy / Colonic Irrigation Treatments at the Detox Studio

Colon Hydrotherapy is a gentle process whereby warm filtered water is infused into the large intestine (colon). This allows encrusted faecal matter, mucous, gas and parasites to be gently removed, allowing vital nutrients to be absorbed more easily leaving you feeling rejuvenated and healthier.

Our bodies are bombarded from every direction with substances we were not designed to process or eliminate, from air pollutants, processed foods containing additives and preservatives, artificial colours, flavours, white flour, sugar, herbicides, fungicides, artificial fertilisers - to industrial strength products, beauty and household products.

When added to the ‘western lifestyle’ - stress, alcohol, cigarettes, infrequent exercise and fast food, the body simply cannot cope. The colon is the body’s dump or sewage system. If the toxins present are not removed the result is autointoxication - the waste materials intended for a healthy exit become re-absorbed into the blood stream and re-distributed around the body, making us feel tired, ill and weak. These toxins then have the run of the entire human body, where they proceed to land on and collect in organs and other areas and cause havoc. As the years go by and we continue to eat poorly and live under emotional stress, the body gradually becomes overwhelmed by toxicity.

Detox Studio is a modern salon which is crisp & clean with a relaxed atmosphere, offering only the best colon care possible. There is a comfortable reception area, in which you can wait and experience our Chi Machine prior to treatment helping you to relax and unblock energy pathways ensuring maximum flow of healing source through all body and organs in preparation for your colon hydrotherapy.

The colon hydrotherapy treatment is carried out by a fully registered and qualified colon hydrotherapist. We comply with strict protocols and guidelines, our water is highly filtered and cleaning & sterilisation of the necessary equipment is carried out and all contact equipment is disposable and used once only.

Your personal dignity is maintained and your modesty is preserved at all times. You will be in a private room with only your therapist who fully appreciates the sensitivity of the treatment and will help to put you at ease.

During the initial consultation there will be a relaxed conversation about your fears and any issues you have with colon hydrotherapy. Your colon hydrotherapist will explain how and what will happen during and after your treatment. They will endeavour to try and find out the root cause of any problems you may have and advise how many treatments you may require depending on your individual needs.

It will also be explained why the treatment works in different ways for each client and treatment is tailored to your personal, psychological, mental & emotional needs which are results orientated.
