Colon Hydrotherapy is a gentle process whereby warm filtered water is infused into the large intestine (colon). This allows encrusted fecal matter, mucous, gas and parasites to be gently removed, allowing vital nutrients to be absorbed more easily leaving you feeling rejuvenated and healthier.Our bodies are bombarded from every direction with substances we were not designed to process or eliminate, from air pollutants, processed foods containing additives and preservatives, artificial colours, flavours, white flour, sugar, herbacides, fungicides, artificial fertilisers - to industrial strength products, beauty and household products.
When added to the ‘western lifestyle’ - stress, alcohol, cigarettes, infrequent exercise and fast food, the body can simply not cope.
The colon is the body’s dump or sewage system. If the toxins present are not removed the result is autointoxication - the waste materials intended for a healthy exit become re-absorbed into the blood stream and re-distributed around the body, making us feel tired, ill and weak.
These toxins then have the run of the entire human body, where they proceed to land on and collect in organs and other areas and cause havoc.

Our water is highly filtered and cleaning and sterilisation of the necessary equipment is carried out and all contact equipment is disposable and used once only.
Is it like an enema?
NO, Colon Hydrotherapy cleanses the entire length of the colon. An enema works on the lower part of the colon only.Will I find it embarrassing?
NO, you will fully maintain your personal dignity and your modesty will be preserved at all times. You will be in a private room with only your therapist who fully appreciates the sensitivity of the treatment and will help to put you at ease. Your emotions will be acknowledged and honoured.And probably must importantly...
Will it hurt!?
NO, Colon Hydrotherapy has a relieving effect - in more ways than one! Most people will experience a feeling of lightness, cleanliness and an increased clarity of mind following the treatment. Sometimes during the treatment you may feel a slight discomfort from time to time whenever toxic waste detaches from the intestinal walls and leaves the body.The Hydrotherapist is skilled at putting you at ease and minimising discomfort.

Detox Studio has appointed a fully professional, qualified Colon Hydotherapist. In order to keep the charge at the current reasonable rate, it is necessary for Detox Studio to keep a well managed appointment system.
If you cannot make your allocated appointment, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required for your session to be reallocated. Less than 24 hours notice will incurr a loss of deposit.
Detox studio understands exceptional unforseen circumstances may occur, and such cases will be discussed separately.
